ABOUT MATT
Matt Batstone is based in the Bath, Somerset area and has been performing magic for over 25 years. Declared as possessing genuine funny bones, his ability to be naturally funny, entertaining and completely bonkers leaves an everlasting memory for those viewing his performance, including the adults!
Matt’s show is particularly aimed towards children of 4 to 6 years old. The magic and humour he uses has been fine-tuned to perfection and will be the funniest thing your kids have ever seen! His show is interactive and any children wanting to get involved in the act are free to do so when prompted.
Matt is a dedicated family man with 2 sons, wife Clare and Mutley the dog! Outside of his magic he loves nothing more than spending time with them.
His love of all things comics and slapstick comedy, such as the classic Laurel and Hardy duo, is clearly an influence that is present throughout his magic act.
Matt loves his music and his vinyl collection is a true sight to behold! As an avid fan of pop culture, particularly the likes of Ska legends ‘Madness’ (1980’s), you’ll find him in the audience of most Madness concerts!
Matt’s love of all things 80’s is mirrored in his choice of films too! ‘The Princess Bride’ and ‘Jaws ‘ being two of his favourites!
